Overview
Peking University School of Health Humanities(SHH)undertakes the mission of teaching humanities courses, public courses of foreign languages, statistics courses and computer courses for undergraduates and postgraduates, and the physical education for undergraduates and Chinese culture courses for international students. SHH is also responsible for the education of Biomedical English undergraduates, and the training of postgraduates in the disciplines of the History of Medicine, Medical Ethics, Medical Psychology, Studies in Chinese Modern and Contemporary History and Fundamental Principles of Marxism.
With education as foundation, the SHH guarantees the teaching of basic courses and develops a curriculum system of general education, with the aim of improving the quality of student training, promoting the coordinated development of students in terms of knowledge, ability and literacy, and progressively improving teaching quality.
